Busy but finding hope in what's to come

This week has been as eventful/stressful as the movie, The Day After Tomorrow and probably other movies that involve eventful or stressful stuff.
Quick recap
-(Sunday) Trainee Sunday... Trainee Sunday = AWESOMENESS, once I put on new pair of pants from wetting myself during my sermon because I was so nervous
-(Monday) Last Staff Meeting where I shed tears (no onions in sights)
-(Tuesday) Had to say goodbye to some of my dearest friends (aka, trainees)
-(Tuesday-Thursday) Had retreat in Troy (you can make a word from taking out any one letter out of the word "troy". You're going to try it now. "TRO" is a word.)
-(Thursday) Came back to Tri-Cities late at night (all tuckered out)
-(Friday) Packed and was on my way back to Pullman, with the greetings of working right when I got there. (couldn't even unpack)
-(Saturday) worked 4 hours in the morning at a booth for my church, Resonate. Began to help Trish, a fellow resonator, with handing out fliers while finding we had to stop right when we began. Promoted a music/magic show tomorrow night on the sidewalks with chalk. (the best part was that I was smart enough to bring not just one, but two bottles of tea.

What I'm really stoked about is what Dorothy, another fellow resonator, and I are planning for. Short story so I don't bore you...
We are planning to make a meeting, once a week, for artists to get together. Not just painters or sculptures, but musicians, writers, poets, visual media peeps, and whoever else. It would be a place where we would just talk, for people to meet others of their field, to have questions posed to them. We'd get guest artists to come and talk a little bit about how they push forward with their art. After that meeting ends, we'd ask them to create!! Create art in groups or on your own or for them to stay with Dorothy and me to create with us. We'd be creating art for Resonate Church on Sundays in which we'd be finding ways to push the envelope on what art is in a church. I don't know how this is going to go, but I have seen imagines on what it could be, and it makes me excited.
I ask for prayer for this to happen and with God working with us on it. Also, if you have any ideas, I'd love them. Right now, the meeting would be called Overlook and the creating part would be 3rd Element. (worship and preaching are the first two elements for church, art is going to be the third.) If you have any better names, let me know.

I really see God working here in Pullman/Moscow this year, more than ever before. (Maybe I'm just finally opening my eyes.) My last community and this one have helped me from getting stale, stagnant. Find one for you!!

in the trenches with you,
Kylan
